Peter Smallwood is a 45 year old Company Chairman, who has been involved in engineering all his working life.
He started racing relatively late after tracking various Porsche for fun. However in his first full season in 2010, competing in the GT3 Cup Challenge, he found he had clear race pace resulting in 6 class wins, finishing as high as second overall and winning the series outright.
With 2010 complete, 2011 will see Pete moving up to Class 1 in the Porsche AG endorsed GT3 Cup Challenge, with the purchase of a 2009 997 GT3 cup car. Pete will be competing for outright wins in 2011.
With a strong business development background, and someone who runs his own business, Pete is ideally placed to position client brands for maximum exposure and understand the needs of the customer when advertising on his race car.
The Opportunity:
Budget is already in place for the 2011 season, however Pete has advertising space on his car, available by the panel, and by the race. We are able to organise full hospitality, track day experiences and media coverage to maximise your product/ business exposure.
To provide an idea of costs, straight advertising on two front wings per race would be £500, per weekend round of the GT3 Cup Challenge. This includes production and application of the decals. After each race the advertiser will receive a race report in word format ready for publication, and exposure on various motorsport websites and publications

About the GT3 Cup Challenge:
The series is run under the Porsche umbrella, purely for GT3 Porsche cup cars, and is a feeder series to Porsche Carrera Cup GB. Rounds take place at Silverstone, Donnington, Brands Hatch, Snetterton and one overseas round and therefore provides good geographical coverage. The series gets excellent press coverage including some rounds being televised. Rounds run on the same programme as such events as the Britcar 24hr race at Silverstone.
